LPL Looking to Expand Touch A Truck Program
When librarian Arin Burton's son was a toddler, he loved looking at trucks and trains. Her son's excitement at seeing a truck prompted her to start a Touch A Truck program at Lima Public Library, and the annual event is one parents and their children look forward to attending.
The event is held the first Saturday in May (May 4 this year), from 10-noon, in the Library's back parking lot. A slew of big and little vehicles are available to children to look at, sit in, honk, touch and more, along with a scattering of activities.
