Our new book club, Roving Readers, was designed by the Lima Public Library in partnership with: The Met, The Meeting Place on Market, & Vino Bellisimo.* We choose the book, you choose the meeting day, time, & place that best suit you. Come to the same meeting each month or change it up. You don't need to register to participate, just read that month's book and join one of the meetings! The book selections are available at the library, or check Hoopla Digital and The Ohio Digital Library.
Lima's main library and branch libraries in Cairo, Elida, Harrod and Spencerville will be closed the following days:
Saturday, December 24
Monday December 26
Saturday, December 31
Monday, Jaunuary 2.
Author Alex Warren will hold a book signing at Lima Public Library on Saturday, December 10, from 1-4 pm. Warren is the author of The Sovereign Heart.
The Sovereign Heart reveals the importance of knowing your true self, along with the necessity to reevaluate what keeps you motivated. This book will take you to the depths of what matters and what doesn't, what is optional and what is necessary to living a full life.
Lima's main library will reopen this morning at 9:00 am and be back on its regular schedule. Some areas of the library are still in the process of drying out and/or being restocked, and might not be accessible to the public. Please see a librarian if you need assistance. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to clean up from yesterday's burst water line.
The main library will be closed today due to a burst water line. Book drops will be open for returns, but late fines will be waived today.
Open enrollment for the Healthcare Market place is now available for 2017. Is it your first time enrolling? Would you like to be able to navigate the Healthcare Marketplace website?
